Playlist of what I’ve been listening to this summer. Along with the albums “Color” by oreskaband, “Waterworld” by Binary Star, and “play!” by Alamedadosoulna. Most of the stuff on the playlist is old but I haven’t gotten to much new stuff besides those few albums. Been meaning to get around to Stomp/Stroll by Big D and the Kids Table, “No Trade Backs” by Small Town Get Up, and the “Not So Easy” EP by 4 point 0.

Airplane! (1980)

So today for my internship I went on a tour of the Hall of Planet Earth with a geologist. At one point when talking about volcanism and extrusive igneous rocks, I made a connection with the Doom of Valyria obviously being some sort of massive volcanic event (which I already knew, but it just reminded me). Then I realized that it is the Fire equivalent to the Long Night. I hoped to possibly compare the two and make some sort of awesome connection, but then when I got home and looked it up they happened like, 7,900 years apart (roughly, according to ASOIAF wiki). I am disappoint.

That has got to be the most deafening rain I’ve ever heard. Good thing my area isn’t close to water level/at risk of flooding. OH WAIT.

There is a delight in the hardy life of the open.
There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness, that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy and its charm.
The nation behaves well if it treats the natural resources as assets which it must turn over to the next generation increased; and not impaired in value.
Conservation means development as much as it does protection.

I hate Walder Frey so much, but he does have a wry humor that I quite enjoy.

I am so ready for this episode.
